Bipedal Robot

The world is one step closer to impending robot domination with this latest creation.  Built by the people at Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan, it's meant to be a platform to carry around the elderly or infirm.  So not only will these things be exceedingly tall, they will also give the elderly the power to control the world.  Oh god, the world is doomed.  Can you imagine it, super-powered elderly people.  I'm all for powered armor, but I want it for meeeeee.

I seriously want this.  Think of how many applications this kind of suit can have; military, industrial, robotics, helping people with disabilities, fighting huge ugly aliens from outer space!!!!.  The possibilities are just endless, and I can't help but think we're one step closer to the ultimate dream of all Japanese.  Yes I did just go there, take that nation of Gundam builders! haha, just kidding, but I know you guys love all things 'mecha.  This particular suit, created by Activelink, is capable of lifting 230lb (100kg) effortlessly.  The design is based off the suit used in Aliens (movie), and the suit itself weighs 230kg.  Now if only our battery tech would move along a little faster.
